Hobnobs

HobNobs are a brand of biscuits made by McVities biscuit company. This is the same company which produces the Digestive Biscuits which I have written a post about already.
The main types of Hobnob biscuits available are, the milk chocolate Hobnobs, the Orange Hobnobs and the regular Hobnobs.


History of Hobnobs

Hobnobs were introduced to the world in 1985. There country of origin is Scotland in the United Kingdom. McVities got the name 'Hobnobs' from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

The ingredients which go into the Chocolate Hobnob biscuits are...

  • Rolled Oats
  • Milk Chocolate
  • Wholemeal Flour
  • Sugar
  • Vegetable Oil - Palm
  • Glucose-Fructose Syrup
  • Raising Agents - Sodium Bicarbonate and Ammonium Bicarbonate
  • Salt
